What a fun place! Authentic French pastry! Very friendly hospitality! Tres bien! We had cafe Americano, Matcha Latte, Chocolate croissant, almond croissant and chocolate roll! Each were fantastic! Highly recommend! Don’t miss this quaint spot!

So French Café is truly a hidden gem in Sarasota, offering delightful food and drinks. One of the standout items on their menu is undoubtedly the croissant, which is arguably the best I've had in a long time. Flaky, buttery, and perfectly baked, it’s a must-try for any pastry lover. Additionally, the Chocolate Dubai Espresso Martini is a fantastic twist on the classic cocktail. Rich and indulgent, it perfectly balances the bold flavors of espresso with a hint of sweetness, making it a great choice for a sophisticated drink. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make for a wonderful dining experience. Whether you're there for a leisurely brunch or a quick coffee break, So French Café is sure to impress. Highly recommended!

J’adore So French! The Naty crepe is my favorite, and the baked goods are perfection. Naty and Charlie are the best hosts, and Aidan is a wonderful server. The atmosphere is so charming that you will not want to leave. Go out of your way for this French gem- it is by far the best you will find anywhere in Sarasota!!

Wow, best French food I have had in the US! Salmon cream crepe, croissant and Americano. Flavor leaped in my mouth! Super friendly staff. Owner took time to explain ingredients. Attention to detail. Will definitely return!

I found this place on accident and I am SO GLAD! Everything was so fresh and authentic and the service was warm and welcoming the moment you step in the door. The best pumpkin spice latte I have EVER had and the tuna salad croissant was equally delicious. I will be sure to make a stop every time I visit Sarasota. I am so curious and excited to try more of the menu!

Quirky little place in a strip mall that could be worth coming and trying. A clothing rack in the back, Congo drums and a full bar usually mean a night club type place. We came for a lunch/brunch and the food was quite good. Paper plates and playlist cups didn’t detract from the good food. If you don’t mind quirky gave this place a try.

This cafe is great. We loved our crepes and sandwiches. Best of all? The Dubai Crepe! It will melt in your mouth. Aiden was our server. He was polite and attentive to our table. A great young man. If you live in Sarasota you need to discover this cafe and give it a try!

Had a great espresso and one of their freshly made baguettes which was very tasty. The owners have added a very comfortable couch outside and other colorful improvements. My visits are always very pleasant talking to the friendly owners who are from Paris. Great food and coffee. They also serve champagne, wine and other drinks. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Very nice French cafe serving excellent crepes, sandwiches and deserts. Their coffee drinks are very good and they have cocktails, wine and beer. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. There is some outside seating. Service is friendly and not rushed. Feels a little like being in a cafe in Montparnasse. There is entertainment some evenings. Highly recommended.

What a delightful discovery! This charming, chef-owned French café instantly reminded me of home. As a French person, I truly cherish these hidden gems that offer real authentic cuisine and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the homemade pâté (foie-gras style) served with warm, fresh baguette, absolutely delicious. The prosciutto, blue cheese, walnut, and tomato salad with its perfectly balanced vinaigrette was equally wonderful. We chose to sit on the patio, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The French owner came to greet us personally, which added such a warm touch. The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Everything we tasted was authentic and full of flavor. A lovely experience from start to finish! We’ll definitely be returning very soon!
